The bear is our privately owned Mont Saint Sauveur Chalet at the stunning four season Fiddler Lake Resort. Only 45 minutes drive from Montreal in the vacation area of St-Sauveur at the heart of a magnificent forest in the Laurentian in Quebec.
The winter snow brings skiing, snowmobiling. Ice finishing, skating and lot more long into Spring. Summer delivers warm sun for golfing, cycling, walking, swimming, fishing and hiking. The Autumn brings the glory of fall with shades of reds, golds and orange.
Saint Sauveur with its 8 ski centres and part of the largest night time skiing area in Canada, 10 golf courses, a fantastic water park, restaurants, bars, theatre and famous shopping outlets in a short 10 minute drive. Mont-Tremblant with its 94 ski runs and 6 golf courses is a short 40-minute drive north.

The Chalet
The Bear is a luxury two storey 15 inch log chalet which accommodates up to 8 people + 2 infants sharing with parents. Set in a 2 acre plots to ensure a secluded retreat with the full support of our concierge service on hand to ensure you can escape, relax and enjoy yourself.
Step inside and be amazed at the beauty of the log house structure with cathedral ceilings and a real stone fireplace. The large cathedral glass walls will let you be at one with nature and the environment, bringing the outside in and giving you the opportunity to spy some of the local wildlife, Deer, Raccoons, Chipmunks, Kingfishers, Eagles and even the occasional Moose.
Take time to relax in the perfectly maintained gardens in the summer, or play in your own little snow covered forest in the winter.
The houses have been constructed to extremely high specs to ensure maximum comfort and luxury. Air conditioning, underfloor and central heating, real stone open fireplaces, indoor hot tubs (6 people) for those cosy nights inside and an outdoor barrel sauna for those cosy nights outside.
Cooking in the fully fitted kitchen or venturing outside to use the gas fired barbecue.
The fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops, dining room with seating for 6-8, and vast living room with Cable TV/DVD/Stereo, as well as the screened-in veranda all afford a luxurious self catering stay.

Follow the signs for Auto 520E and merge onto Autoroute 520E.
Stay on Aut-520E for about 2 to 3km then take exit 4 toward Aut-13 / Laval / Lachine
Take Aut-13N toward Laval.
Stay on 13N for approximately 16 to 19 km then merge onto Aut-640E
In approx 2 to 3 km, take the Aut-15N toward Mirabel / St-Jerome
Stay on Aut-15N for approx 40 km, then take exit 60 (St-Sauveur / Rte-364)
At the first traffic light, turn left, over the bridge, then right onto Rte 364.
Stay on Rte 364 O (O for West!) for approx 8 - 10 km toward Morin-Heights
Watch for Rte 329S (S for south) / Morin-Heights.
