Skeena Mountain range is approximately 230 miles running northwest and approximately 90 miles wide. The southern tip of the Alaskan Panhandle is south of the most southern point in the Skeena Mountains. Western portion of the range is heavily influenced by coastal weather patterns, whereas the eastern portion is receives influence from the cold interior plateau. The clashing of weather systems between these two geographic areas results in significant glaciations and substantial annual snowfalls.
Getting to this magnificent region of British Columbia takes a day of travel, via charter flight out of Vancouver. The flight to Smithers or Terrace awakens your senses to a breathtaking and awe-inspiring visual of the never ending stream of mountains. The heli operators located in this region have exquisitely built timber frame lodges that meet every comfort level an individual could ask for.

Cancellation Down days are also non-refundable. However, if due to mechanical breakdown or poor weather and the operator is not able to fly and vertical feet/meters are not reached as set by the package purchased, then operators will refund the un-skied footage back to guests on the amount charged for additional purchase of vertical feet/meters.
