With an average temperature of -4º C, Apex receives about 600 cm of dry "Okanagan" powder each season. Amenities include skiing, snow boarding, cross country skiing, 2 terrain parks, world cup aerial site, world cup mogul course, night skiing, lift accessed tube park, outdoor regulation size hockey/skating rink, 1 km adventure ice skating loop (maintained and lit), snow shoe tours, snowmobiling tours, ice fishing plus an ice climbing wall.
